Brow Powder

It is a beautiful 10 degrees day in the city today, Spring has finally arrived! This is terrible my last post was updated in July 2012... So much has happened since then, but that isn't a good excuse to neglect my blog, I've come to realize just how important it is to keep our hobbies and interests alive, so the "real world" doesn't consume us.

Anywho, about two months ago, I was running dangerously low on brow powder, the shade I enjoyed and relied on for so long was the Physicians Formula Matte Collection, the dark grey one in Canyon Classic palette.

(The dark grey shade on the bottom left)

Despite how the colour may appear in photo, it blends in smoothly and evenly, giving it a bold yet natural look, unlike many brow pencils I've tried. If I were to be over-particular, I would wish it was slightly more brown and that they would sell it separately, but truly it was a nice one to have. I have been apprehensive about the view of the bottom of the pan for a few days, thus I begun the hunt for a new, and hopefully better brow powder.

Lo and behold:
After close to two weeks of searching and trying on swatches, I was over the moon to discovery a fabulous Canadian Cosmetics brand that created the perfect brow shadow.

The label might be difficult to read, the brand is called Vasanti, and the product is Cape Town Brow Powder. This shade is considerably more brown, it goes on and stays on without any sort of primer/adhesive. After a few days of using this product, I was so impressed that I had to go out and purchase a backup. (Retail: Cdn $15)

I WILL do my best to update my blog on a more frequent basis. Please leave me a message if you like to chat about anything make-up! =)

Love, Hannah

2012 summer favourites

Now I know these products are nothing you haven't heard of, but I love them so much I thought I'd share them with you =)

I LOVE LOVE these EOS lip balms so much that I went and got four...Mint and Lemon are not my top choices when it comes to my lips, but I have been contemplating about maybe getting the yellow (lemon) one, what do you guys think?
If I remember correctly, these are:
Over the taupe, Thanks a windmillion, taupe the space needle (from left to right)
(*I may have the two taupes mixed up*)
The Sparitual nail polishes are my newest findings, I have always been happy with OPI, but these bottles are adorable, and I got the pack of 5 for a steal! I like the light colours for a base coat, and they are fairly long lasting polish, however, I'd recommend putting them on outside of the house, nail polishes are infamous for their nauseous smell, and these are 5X stronger! (4/5 stars)
This product truly speaks for itself! All love <3
This travel size perfume has not left my purse in over half a year now! It is so convenient, and I adore the smell, it is light, floral and not at all overwhelming!

And to end this lovely post with some delicious treats I had when I visited Montreal <3

Thanks for reading!! Hope you are all having a wonderful summer <3
